Ready Made Pouch Packaging
Gamekeepers Meat.
In-house graphic design packaging project for ready-made pouches. Gamekeepers have created a customised full-service butchery that allows restaurants and chefs to source all their needs under one roof. When COVID began, they offered their wholesale services to home cooks with a large catalogue of restaurant-quality products, which has included expanding their pantry range to this project, a collection of ready-made pouches of premium pre-cooked stocks and sauces.
BRIEF:
Clean premium feel in black and white as limited to palette with local printing. Pouches will be printed in two sizes, 500g and 1kg, but print area on larger pouch is the reduced to same dimensions as the 500g, the smaller design will be used on both sizes. Needs to appeal to both retail and wholesale customers. Included Gamekeepers leaf icon, fonts and round device.
Asset inspiration from exisiting butchers paper design and device elements.
Ideation design process, style tiles looking at typography, device placement & titles hierarchy.
Pouch thumbnail sketched designs.
Illustrations created to add to existing drawings to use as background icons on pouches. To reflect ingredients in product.
Further pouch development with pattern concept.
Final design with die-line, printing are restrictions required the pattern confined to smaller area on pouch.
